Heron International has submitted a planning application for a new development in London.
It has applied for permission to construct Heron Plaza, the second phase of the work that began with the construction of the adjacent Heron Tower.
The site, which is located in the City, will feature retail
business property, residential buildings and a "substantial new public open space".
It will also be home to Four Seasons Hotel and Residences London, a 43-storey tower the developer claims will provide facilities "unmatched" by any other hotels in the area.
The total cost of the site will be over £500 million and Gerald Ronson, chief executive of the
commercial property company, said that it "will provide much needed, unparalleled hotel and residential facilities [that] reflect London's status as the financial capital of the world".
To date, Heron has developed in excess of one million sq ft of retail and commercial property and it currently holds and investment portfolio valued at over £500 million.
