Mayfair Capital invests in three commercial properties
Mayfair Capital has bought sites in Leeds, Thatcham and Richmond.
Mayfair Capital Investment Management has added three new commercial properties to its portfolio.
According to Property Week, the fund manager has purchased a warehouse, a retail unit and a retail warehouse for its Property Income Trust for Charities.
The three sites have cost Mayfair Capital a total of £10.3 million with the 35,435 sq ft retail warehouse, which is located in Leeds and let to Wickes Building Supplies, costing £5.9 million.
It acquired a 45,601 sq ft warehouse unit in Thatcham for £4.38 million, while the final purchase consisted of three retail outlets that are rented to Sainsbury's, Costa Coffee and the London Borough of Richmond.
“We are pleased that in a market with few vendors our investment programme has kept pace with new subscriptions entering the fund”, fund director at Mayfair Capital James Thornton was quoted as saying.
The company's Property Income Trust for Charities aims to give investors income yields of between 5.75% and 6%, while also protecting capital value from the risk of inflation.
