A high-end jewellery firm has moved into
commercial property on London's New Bond Street, taking over the premises from fashion retailer Dolce & Gabbana (D&G).
Solange Azagury Partridge has taken over at the 3,000 sq ft 162 New Bond Street site after D&G chose not to continue with its plans to launch a concept store.
Wilson McHardy advised the firm on the deal and its joint founder Keith Wilson said that the location is "just perfect" for the business.
"The rent and the size of the space are much more attractive in comparison with the main fine jewellery stretch," he was quoted as saying.
Solange is spending £800,000 per year to rent the business property, the same figure that was being paid by D&G.
Mr Wilson added that it first attempted to secure the store for its client last summer.
In addition to its new location, Solange also has a store at 187 Westbourne Grove in the west of the capital.
