The south-west is to get a new
commercial property centre after Goodman announced it has formed a joint venture with Severnside Distribution Land.
A distribution park is to be built in the Severnside area of Bristol, which will have room for buildings measuring up to 1.6 million sq ft in size, Property Week reports.
Under the terms of the agreement, 85 acres of land has been promoted for the construction of business property and the area, which will be known as Central Park, already has the necessary infrastructure in place.
"With such a strategically important site in terms of location, scale and deliverability, it offers significant benefits for potential occupiers," remarked Goodman managing director Jason Dalby.
Severnside Distribution Land's Michael Shebson was quoted as saying that the partnership will lead to the creation of a "long-term investment portfolio".
Earlier this month, Goodman revealed that it has secured Oxfordshire County Council and HSS Hire as new tenants at its Oxford Business Park.
