Land Securities has completed the lettings of three
commercial property sites at its retail parks across the UK.
At the Westwood Cross Shopping Park in Thanet, Kent, health foods retailer Holland & Barrett has moved into a unit formerly occupied by Priceless shoes after agreeing a ten-year term, while Dunelm has taken the former MFI unit at the Dundee Kingsway West Retail Park in Scotland.
Kingsway West will also see the opening of a new 10,000 sq ft Next Home store new month and three more openings have also taken place at Lakeside Retail Park in West Thurrock, Essex.
Sports Direct, Game and Nandos have all moved into
business property sites measuring 8,000 sq ft, 2,500 sq ft and 3,000 sq ft respectively.
"These new store openings and lettings demonstrate that retailers remain interested in expanding into parks in strong locations with a good tenant mix," remarked Hermione Mackrill of Land Securities, which currently has 24 shopping centres and 20 retail parks in its portfolio.
