Prupim has completed the purchase of the Acergy
commercial property development in Westhill, Aberdeen for £36 million.
The deal, which sees the firm acquire the site from Stewart Milne Developments, is the biggest to have taken place in the Scottish city for nearly two years, Property Week reports.
Acergy - an engineering and construction firm - occupies the facility on a 20-year lease, having moved in after the 17-acre complex was completed in October 2008.
Managing director for Stewart Milne Developments Malcolm Deans said the sale strengthens the company's ability to "take advantage of the opportunities [that] are likely to come forward in the next 12/24 months".
The move "fits well with our strategy of acquisition, development and ultimate realisation of investment potential", he was quoted as saying.
A total of four buildings are located on the
business property development, including a 12,000 sq m main office building that features a staff restaurant, cafeteria and reception atrium.
