A new
business property for financial advice firm KPMG is needed in Manchester city centre, according to reports.
The company is said to be looking for 100,000 sq ft of office space in the city and has appointed Knight Frank to find the best site.
However, the move will not occur for a number of years, with relocation plans expected to begin in 2013.
KPMG currently has 22 offices in the UK, with a total workforce of 11,000 people, including its partners and members of staff.
While there are a number of options for business property in the city, the company may also look to construct a site for this purpose.
The premises presently occupied by the accountancy firm are due to expire in December 2014.
Formed in 1987, the organisation gained its name from the initials of its principal founding members, to become known as KPMG (Klynveld Peat Marwick Goerdeler).
