Commercial property owners could get more assistance from the government when they are first establishing themselves.
This is the view of Michael Baxter from Investment and Business News, who says start-up businesses would benefit from help in this way.
"I am not against the government making cuts but at least some of the money saved through making cuts should [be] pumped into boosting innovation and entrepreneurial businesses," he stated.
The comments follow the publication of the emergency Budget, in which Chancellor of the Exchequer George Osborne set out to improve the country's economy and cut the deficit.
The UK has a different outlook towards
business property owners who are just starting out, compared with countries such as the US, Mr Baxter added.
There is not the same attitude towards failure and British entrepreneurs should be better encouraged to improve this situation, he continued.
Mr Baxter also cited the example of Japan, where the central bank plans to lend £22 billion to its country's businesses and said this could be looked into.
