Sainsbury's is offering Staffordshire businesses the opportunity to move into
commercial property at a new store in Biddulph.
The Sentinel reports the retail giant is currently working to fill six vacant units adjacent to 25,000 sq ft outlet, work on which began at the end of last year.
Annual rent on the units - which vary in size from 57 sq m to 94 sq m - costs between £11,000 and £13,500.
Project manager for Sainsbury's Nick Alston was quoted by the newspaper as saying the company is "looking forward to talking with businesses that are interested in bringing their trade to Biddulph".
He added the
business property development will help "secure the long-term vitality" of the town, as well as create new employment opportunities.
The new outlet will feature a cafe and fresh food counters, along with 365 car parking spaces.
Sainsbury's currently operates 537 supermarkets across the UK, along with 335 convenience stores.
