Derbyshire Royal Infirmary property redevelopment plan 'includes offices'
Those looking for an office investment property may be interested in plans to redevelop the former Derbyshire Royal Infirmary site.
Health chiefs have created the proposals, the Derby Telegraph reports, which include homes and an Olympic-sized swimming pool.
A 60,000 sq ft supermarket, a hotel, hundreds of homes and space for business properties are among the possible uses for the site, which would be known as the Nightingale Quarter.
Commercial property investors may consider giving their opinion on the plans, as Derrick Conway, assistant estates director for the hospital trust explains he is welcoming any views on the matter.
"The land, which occupies a prime location in the heart of the city, is an important development site," he says.
According to the publication, bosses at Derby Hospitals NHS Trust had initially planned to build restaurants, housing and offices on the land.
The trust is responsible for both the London Road Community Hospital and the Royal Derby Hospital.
