Bosses may consider making their business properties more eco friendly in order to save money.
According to Paul Anderson, programme director for infrastructure outsourcing at Capgemini, a sustainability strategy is proving vital for a growing number of medium to large-scale firms.
"In regards to business, for elements of sustainability and greening there can be massive savings and it will bring down the scale of their overall carbon footprint," he stated.
And
commercial property owners may consider ways this can be done, such as using energy-efficient devices indoors or even consider renewable energy options.
It was recently announced IT services provider Capgemini is set to launch the most energy-efficient and sustainable data centre in the world, with the Tier 3 facility set to open on September 17th.
Those inspired by the move may take a closer look at their own
business property and consider ways in which it can become greener.
