A new
commercial property has been chosen as the headquarters for professional services firm KPMG.
Situated in an office development in Cardiff Bay, the site will be occupied by the firms 100 members of staff, the Western Mail reports.
KPMG was previously situated in Cardiff when it began operating under a former title - WB Peat and Co - almost 100 years ago.
The new
business property was officially launched this week and former employee Edward Granger - whose father was previously a partner at the original Cardiff site - was a guest of honour.
Cardiff office senior partner Simon Jones said: "Our new base marks the next chapter of KPMG's history in Wales and coming full circle back to the original office's roots feels like a very appropriate way to mark our centenary year."
A total of 22 offices in the UK house staff from the firm and there are currently more than 10,000 partners.
